Before advertising it is important to decide if you are going to concentrate solely on basic and beginner piano lessons or offer a solid background in music theory, music history, and even if you are going to branch out and teach other instruments that you may be proficient with such as the harp, harpsichord, flute, or any other musical instrument with which you have studied in depth. Each of these things will affect the specific wording you should use when you advertise for piano students.

In addition to advertising in local newspapers, football game and band performance programs are another great way to stretch your advertising dollars.
