If you are considering teaching piano lessons to children as a career you may be wondering how to teach piano lessons. It is a question that is quite often asked and not so easily answered. The problem is that we all learned to some degree in a different method. This means there are many different methods of teaching and any number may be just as effective as another. It helps if you can teach a simple song to the children so that they will feel some degree of accomplishment. It is important however to remind them that it takes baby steps so that they aren't frustrated by seemingly slow progress.
The answer to the question "How to teach piano lessons?" is not a simple answer. Every student is different just as every teacher is different. We all have something to offer each other. Our special gift may not always present itself quite as easily as other things, but it's always beneath the surface.
