Younger children are often the most fun and in turn the most challenging students you will have as a teacher. They require a special kind of teacher but also provide a special kind of reward.

I think you'll be delighted in this case to find out that you were wrong. Kids, the younger the better, are much easier to teach than teens and adults. While it requires a special person to teach children, it requires a near saint to teach teens to play the piano.
