I was going to do that because I was going to get my licease to become a piano teacher but geeze…
I think your time might be better spent learning Japanese if you want to go to Japan. Are you fluent in the language? Can you read and write it as well ?
If not…time to get started.

Music helps the brain develop. People who play music are better at math and school in general. But practicing can be a drag when you are young. I hated it at times. But then as an adult, playing the piano is relaxing and fun, either by yourself or with friends and family singing in chorus.

yeah it is true that kids who are playing an instrument are generally better at math, and in school all together. but its fun and relaxing at times when you want to do it, not have to.

from what your question sounds like, I really really hope that you don’t become a piano teacher. You don’t sound lik you even like piano, so please don’t use teaching piano as your way of making allowance money or your car payment or money for your clothing. The field of piano teachers already have too many of those who do it only for the money and leaving people like me to clean up their irresponsible and long lasting damages to the students. You ruin less souls being a model or waitress
