To all the self-taught pianists, how easy was it?

By Sheryl ·

I’ve been messing around on pianos and keyboards since I was very young, but never had any formal lessons. I can’t read sheet music. I’ve always loved the sound of the piano and listening to other people play. How easy was it for you to teach yourself how to play piano? Did it just come naturally or did you have to work at it? Do you have any tips or advice?

It doesn’t matter how I think cos Internet could bring you the instruments you need to improve your skills, but the reality says that if you want to become a pianist or whatever instrument you play you need to sacrifice at least 4 hours a day without any other distraction than your goal of improvement.
