Go to college. Earn you Bachelor’s degree in Music Education. This will have all the requirements you need to teach in your area.
How do you start teaching a beginner piano?
I’m 16 and kind of want some money, i’m going to teach some kids beginners piano but I was really young when I started so I can’t remember the first things my teacher every taught me.
Should I just get some beginner piano books and go through it?
Yes, definitely get the books, they’ll guide you into anything you may miss out.
How can I teach abroad?
I am currently in the process of finishing up a degree in music education. When I am done I will have a license from Indiana to teach general and instrumental music. I would really like to to teach in another country but I’m not entirely sure how to do this. I would really appreciate any advice on how to find a job teaching music in another country and everything that goes into obtaining a job abroad. Any info is appreciate, thanks!
You might want to check out Italy and its CLIL courses (Content and Language Integrated Learning) where you would teach the subject of Music in the target language of English. It’s on program in some elementary, middle and high schools. Good luck!
