Learn How to play piano ..?
I want to try to self-teach myself piano .. anyone have any tips &or suggestions ?

about my hamster – yeah she died that morning .. around 4 AM .. but I tried everything . =[
I didn’t get on the computer for like 4 days after that just because I was really upset, & when I came back there had already been like a best answer chosen I guess by voters? lol. But otherwise I totally would have let you guys know .. I alpologize.

Watch as many on line You Tube videos of pro pianists as possible. Watch You tube instruction, get Web instruction.
Practice a lot.
Learn how to read and the different rhythms. read about music there and Harmony.

There are some simple beginning books you can buy at music stores, I’d start with that. Follow through with those, and you’ll get to a pretty high level.

You can only teach yourself for awhile and then you need to find a teacher of some sort.

Sorry for writing off topic, hotasice, but I just wanted to know how your hamster is. You kind of left us hanging, and I hope the little thing is feeling better. Could you write an edit here to let us know?
By the way, there are very easy books that teach you one note at a time, and I think you’d be able to teach yourself using one of those books, but just beginner stuff. EVentually, you’ll need a teacher.
Edit: I’m sorry about your hamster. As you said, you did what you could.
