What are piano teachers usually paid to teach a beginner student for half an our?
I just got asked if I could teach a ladys younger children who are beginners in piano. She wants me to teach them for half an hour a week. What I would like to know is how much should I ask for her to pay me. If you are a piano teacher how much do you get paid?

Normally 10-20$ is reasonable. Anything over is pushing, 15$ is the amount I used to pay for my lessons (now I play on my own).

If your a professional, like in symphony orchestras, you can charge up to $30, but at the music store were my sister takes lessons, her teacher charges $20.
