What is the best website for teaching children how to play the piano?
My 6 year old little sister wants to learn how to play our piano. Know of any good websites to help?
I know myself how to play the piano and plan to show her how myself. I’m just looking for a website that will give me a good general way to learn how to play and one that gives easy songs for children her age to learn how to play.

I’d say it was just about impossible to learn how to play the piano from a website – it’s something you need to be shown how to do in person. A website would be too general, and not show your daughter what applies to her personally. It would be best to go to a teacher in order to learn.

Anyways, try buying a simple book that is a step by step teaching tool (they actually come pretty cheap now). As long as you help her along, and show her the basics, you’ll be fine. But sorry, there is no internet sites that actually teach playing piano.
Try the Alfred’s Series, they are perfect for what you are looking for.
