How do you start teaching a beginner piano?
I’m 16 and kind of want some money, i’m going to teach some kids beginners piano but I was really young when I started so I can’t remember the first things my teacher every taught me.
Should I just get some beginner piano books and go through it?
Yes, definitely get the books, they’ll guide you into anything you may miss out.

Playing piano since I was 7.
looking for some beginner books for kids on playing the piano would be great. Go to your local music store and have a browse. You can ask your student’s parents to purchase these books so then they can play along. Basically when you start learning an instrument, you learn where the notes are. Introduce them to the c major scale. Teach them the letter names and the other names of the notes. Make them remember them by making a game out of it like saying where is the "cat" when they are looking for the note "c" etc. start with the right hand to the left hand and making them practice the scale. etc.. lessons can go on forever!
